Rye

Rye is a grass grown extensively as a grain and forage crop. Rye grain is seldom used in tropical and subtropical countries. As it is less palatable than other grains, it should not be fed alone.

The level of inclusion in pig rations; for example, is 10-20%.

It should not be fed to young animals as it may cause digestive disorders.
