Corn also known as Maize is a cereal grain that was domesticated in Mesoamerica and then spread throughout the American continents. In the United States and Canada, the primary use for maize is as a feed for livestock, forage, silage or grain. Silage is made by fermentation of chopped green cornstalks

 

Corn Distillers Dried Grain with Solubles
This product is obtained by removal of ethyl alcohol by distillation from the yeast fermentation of corn or corn mixture by condensing and drying at least 75 percent of the solids of the resultant whole stillage.

Corn distillers dried grain with solubles has:
· Crude protein of 26-27 percent;
· Crude fat, 7-8 percent;
· Crude fibre, 8.5-9.5 percent.
